Recently Refit: Evolution Yacht has Set a New Standard of Luxury
Ahoy Club have formally been appointed as the new exclusive Charter Manager for recently refurbished, well-known charter vessel, EVOLUTION. EVOLUTION, a 39m (127.95ft) Oceanfast superyacht recently went through a phased refit from 2021-2023. Previously known as SAHANA, the refit has seen EVOLUTION rebrand into an even more luxury charter experience through the use of smart choices in finishes and furnishings.
From the outset, EVOLUTION's refit was marked by careful attention to detail. A comprehensive redesign of the rear swim platform, now doubled in size, serves as an expansive focal point for guests to enjoy a myriad of activities, from swimming to sunbathing. This setting gives an unofficial beach club feel, well known in Europe but rarely seen in charter vessels in Australia. Alternatively, the space has been brilliantly crafted to offer guests the option of a full dining experience, allowing endless choices dependent on the guests preferences.
Similar to the swim platform, upgrading the sundeck with movable furniture gives way for a transformative space and the option for a 20 person dining area. This flexibility gives the guests a personalised experience based on the mood of the charter, from a casual cocktail hour on the plush lounges or a more extravagant dining choice. The extended lounge space on the bow creates a unique area and adds to the many leisure zones available. Moving inside, the main salon has transformed into a refined sanctuary of relaxation and entertainment, giving way to a large bar. The deliberate and intelligent use of modern interior design and colour schemes creates a more open space all without changing the structure
EVOLUTION can accommodate up to eight overnight guests across four staterooms, each with an elevated minimalist design. The full beam master cabin received a refreshing facelift, with a new bedhead, base and veneer panelling, creating a brighter and more vibrant space for guests to unwind. Transitioning from the master to the ensuite, guests can enjoy an expansive luxury space complete with Pure Fiji toiletries and Bemboka towels.
As EVOLUTION sets sail once again, guests can rest assured on a seamless journey, thanks to the captain’s decade-long tenure navigating the vessel. With an intimate knowledge of her and the destinations, charterers are in the most capable of hands. Moreover, Ahoy Club holds privileged access to Lizard Island, giving exclusive access typically reserved solely for the island’s guests.
