Spending a Perfect Long Weekend In Pittwater

 SYDNEY - PITTWATTER

The northern beaches of Sydney offer the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The region promises an idyllic location for a staycation that should be taken full advantage of when the occasion arises. With pristine waters, charming waterfront restaurants, and ample space along the coast of Pittwater to explore in privacy, the region is wholeheartedly infused with the essence of coastal bliss.

Day 1: SYDNEY HARBOUR

Boarding your yacht from one of the many wharves in Sydney Harbour, a long weekend full of relaxation will begin  as you make the journey up to the picturesque Pittwater region. The cruise is about 2 hours on average. If you prefer not to cruise by vessel, we can offer you an executive transfer by car where you can meet the vessel on arrival. Your captain will anchor you off Hallets beach situated in Cowan Creek, a fantastic spot for water sports and beach BBQ lunch. As the sun goes down, take advantage of a balmy clear evening to enjoy a seafood dinner prepared by your onboard chefs, and a night-cap onboard the deck of your yacht.

Day 2: HAWKSBURY RIVER

Your crew will serve you a leisurely breakfast onboard before your yacht will haul anchor and head up the Hawkesbury River to Bar Point home of the "Parramatta" - a World War 1 destroyer. This is a fascinating area for swimming and snorkeling to explore this historical deck. Fishing, bush walking, swimming & crabbing are just some of the activities that can be enjoyed for the day. After lunch onboard your yacht, your captain will head back down river to anchor at the "tanks" at Wobby beach. This is the perfect area to begin a bush walk up to the fresh water cascades in the Brisbane Water national park. This is the site of the first official act of piracy in Australia in 1796, and provides fantastic views. After working up an appetite, your chefs will prepare a gourmet Italian dinner and you can relax with some wine after a beautiful day in the sun.

Your yacht will then cruise to the Newport marina, so you and your guests enjoy a meal at the famous Bert's Bar and Brasserie, savoring fresh seafood while taking in panoramic views of Pittwater.
